    Gemma Kennedy graduated from the Sylvania School of Dental Therapy, Sydney in March 1982. She has worked as a dental therapist for over 25 years in a variety of locations in New South Wales, the Northern Territory and Melbourne. She is currently the Program Manager, Oral Health at the Western Region Health Centre, Footscray. She was former member of the Dental Auxiliaries Advisory Committee to the DPBV for 5 years; Gemma consistently works hard for the professional associations at both state and national level having held the NT DTA Secretary and ADOHTA Vice President positions. Gemma has been VDOHTA Inc President since July 2006

    Amy Lee graduated as a Dental Therapist in 1998, and worked with Dental Health Services Victoria (DHSV) in both metropolitan and regional Victoria. From 2003 - 2006, while maintaining a small component of clinical practice, Amy held a variety of roles within the School Dental Service at DHSV: Deputy Operations Manager, Project Officer and Zone Manager. In her role as Project Officer for the School Dental Service, Amy played a significant role in the development and implementation of the individualized recall program for patients. In September 2006, Amy accepted the position of Program Manager for Western Region Health Centre Integrated Oral Health Program in Footscray, which she held until leaving in September 2009 to take on a new challenge as a Senior Project Officer for the Dental Health Unit at the Department of Health, Victorian Government.

    Julie Satur graduated as a dental therapist in Melbourne in 1977. She spent around 18 years working for the Victorian School Dental Service as a clinician, in management and oral health promotion. In 1996 Julie completed a Masters Degree in Health Promotion and Health Education and in 2003, a Doctor of Philosophy with a thesis entitled Australian dental policy reform and the use of dental therapists and hygienists. Julie has had a keen interest in developing the profession of dental therapy at both policy and association level. She is a past president of the VDTA, an active member of ADOHTA and the first dental therapist appointed to the Dental Practice Board of Victoria and also editor of the Australian Dental Therapists Association Journal. Julie is currently a senior lecturer in Oral Health at the University of Melbourne' School of Dental Science and also spends one day a week working in a private orthodontic practice.

    Jacqueline Tsakmakis graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science in 2005 and a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2009. Jacqueline currently works in Ivanhoe at Smile Connections Dental Care and also at Plenty Valley Community Health in Epping. With a keen interest in Minimal Intervention Dentistry, Jacquelines final year research project was drafting clinical guidelines on minimal intervention for DHSV, and she remains committed to staying involved with brining this philosophy to public dentistry in Victoria.

    Claire Mustchin graduated form the University of Queensland, Bachelor of Oral Health in 2004 and is currently completing a Master of Public Health. Whilst in Queensland Claire worked for the Queensland Health School Dental Service and in private practice. Claire is currently working for Western Region Health Centre and in private practice since moving to Melbourne in 2009. Claire has a keen interest in improving the oral health of the community especially preschool children, and is implementing the DSHV "Smiles 4 Miles" Program at Western Region Health Centre in partnership with kindergartens and preschools in the Maribyrnong Council area.

    Tan Nguyen graduated from the University of Melbourne with the Bachelor of Oral Health in 2008. His final year research project was entitled Review of the Effectiveness for Oral Health Education in Schools. He is currently working at Plenty Valley Community Health and is currently the Occupational Health and Safety representative for the dental team. He has keen interests in School Dental Programs and Minimal Intervention Dentistry. Tan nominated to be an executive member to be actively involved in promoting and mediating the profile of dental and oral health therapists in the community.

    Louis Ngo graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2007 with a Bachelor of Oral Health. Currently, he works at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne where he is also involved with the DHSV Dental Therapist program which allows OHTs and DTs to provide coronal restorative treatments to all age groups. He joined the VDOHTA Executive Committee in 2009 with the hope of contributing new ideas.

    Kelli Garner was a Dental Assistant for 20 years prior to graduating from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Oral Health in December 2009. She currently works for Peninsula Health at Hastings Community Dental and in Frankston at Beachside Complete Dental Care. Kelli undertook a placement in her final year of study in Darwin to observe the provision of Oral Health care in remote settings. She is keen to help continue the forward momentum of our profession by being an active member of the committee.

    Ronda Hewes graduated from the Melbourne Dental Therapy School in December 1979. Currently Ronda works as a dental therapist at Victoria Road Dental in Chirnside Park where she has a passion for making a childs first dental visits friendly and fun and to encourage positive dental experiences. Prior to joining the private sector workforce in 2005 Ronda worked for the Victorian School Dental Service in many locations for over 25 years. She also worked as a Dental Therapist in Darwin in the mid 80's. Ronda has been a member of the VDOHTA executive committee since 2005 and was secretary from 2008 to 2011.
